Our first home was this duplex.  There was a small bedroom, small bath, small living room/dinette & tiny kitchen.  Rent was $ 42.00 per month, plus $ 6.00 a month for stove and refrigerator lease.  While in Fort Worth Robert Alton worked for Convair as a computer programmer.  Wanda was a Customer Rep for the Southwestern Bell.  Both were in enrolled at Southwestern Baptist Theological Seminary.

Our unit was on the left. An older lady lived on the right side. 

The little park in front is now part of a parking lot   for a major discount store.
