ELI SIMMONS  -  1853 

It is believed that late in 1885 the family (3 sons) moved from St Jo, Texas to near Decatur, Texas. On the last trip back for the family belongings, Eli did not return to his family.  The fourth son was born shortly afterwards.  Willis Edward Simmons says he never saw his father again
